Federal authorities arrested Margarita Crispin while on duty at the Paso Del Norte Bridge. Authorities say she conspired with others to import more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana into the United States from June 2003 to July 2007.
A Las Cruces police officer was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday night. Officials say David Cordova was driving his motorcycle and slammed into the back of a car. He died at the scene.
